Hello, How Are You? Poem by Gregory Corban Jr.

Hello, How Are You?

Could you tell me who you are?
An adventurer lad who's traveling from afar?
Perhaps a space pirate headed to a distant star?
Maybe your just a drunkard who coming back from the bar!

Hello, how are you? Could you tell me what you wear?
Was it a gift from a hermit friend who skinned it from a bear?
Could you be a wolverine because it looks like there's lots of hair?
Or are just hairy, and if so then I don't really care!

Hello, how are you? Could you tell me your name?
Is it similar to a celebrity and brings you lots of fame?
Or does it sound like a villain and makes you go insane?
Or is it John Smith, because that sounds really plain!

Hello, how are you? Could you tell what you do?
Maybe your seeking revenge for your family, is that, oh is that true?
Are you trying to be an animal, if so can you teach me to ‘moo'?
Or is it collecting coins, because in that case I have two!

Hello, how are you? Could you tell me everything you know?
Can you launch arrows, and could you teach me to use a bow?
Or are you a doctor, can you teach me to deal with woe?
Hey, where are you going? Hey, don't go!
