Her Body Now Lies On School Grounds Covered In Red Poem by Daya Nandan

Her Body Now Lies On School Grounds Covered In Red

She cried her heart out until she could cry no more,
Her eyes were all red and her eye lids were sore
Her cheeks were puffy and her heart was in pain,
From horrid experiences haunting her again and again,

She was left with a powerful void growing deep within,
A loneliness that would not show from her outer skin,
Possessed by grief, her mind and will was no more
She stepped off the edge and fell towards the floor

And suddenly all the pain had vanished into thin air,
All the loneliness and all the missing love and care,
Her mind was free, there were no more tears to be had,
The end of the horrid life and all the experiences so bad,

Her body now lies on school grounds covered in red,
Disfigured and broken, here she lies lifeless and dead,
No more sadness within her mind to ever be found,
A clear message delivered in the quietness of sound.
