Her Heart Poem by Vaughn Bekker

Her Heart

Rating: 5.0

You hold my hand as we walk along
Our souls to each other do sing a song
Of passion and love they do sing
And amazing moments they do bring
As the ocean waters lap the shore
So my heart does you adore
Your heart as bright as the sun does shine
I still can`t believe that you are mine
You give so much love for my heart to hold
That as i try my knee`s begin to fold
For never before have i seen so much love
Than from you my perfect little dove
Your love flows free like a spring breeze
And so it my little heart does please
Inside you make me feel so warm
As your love does me begin to swarm
When i think I’ve seen it all
More on me it seems to fall
It`s as strong as the soil under my feet
With it i think the world i could defeat
It lifts me up and makes me fly
There are no limits, not even the sky
As strong as a river on its way to the sea
Your love seems to flow just for me
How much more of it could my little heart take?
If anymore i think it might break
It over flows it`s full to the brim
All this love you`ve given me within
I wish i could show the world to see
What a beautiful soul i have with me
To see you smile it`s such a prize
As if you just saw your first sunrise
Or like watching the early morning breeze
As it gently rushes through the trees
I would trade the world for a moment in time
To share it with you and call you mine
Thank you my love for all you are
You truly are my shining star
You shine for me from heaven above
And never before have i seen such love
