I wanted to say goodbye,
for my love does not live here anymore,
but her love keeps standing in the way.
She tells me that she loves me
and that she’ll die if I ever go away.
I’ve made the decision,
I’ve got to stick to it if I can,
but her love keeps standing the way.

Maybe tomorrow might be the right time.
I don’t want to her to do
something foolish,
but I do not love her anymore.
There is no one else in my heart,
and I can’t go torturing my self
day after day,
but her love keeps stand in the way.

I’ll try to tell her tomorrow,
we cannot go on this way.
A one sided love
shouldn’t make someone stay.
I don’t mean to hurt her,
there is no one else in my life,
and there is a barrier I first must cross,
because her love keeps standing in the way.
