Her Notebook Poem by Kavin Fang

Her Notebook

I apologize for unintentionally opening a notebook
On which a timetable stretching like a map
Each half a month as a station
along the meandering way
Beginning on April 1, ending with the day before Examination
And a delicate flag is drawn at the terminal, waving with grin

The owner, I guess is a girl, wrote down her schedule so detailed
Within fifteen days, these should be done:
1 English Digest to read
4 compositions to write
5 previous exams to finish
8 articles for close reading
20 articles for reading comprehension
50 long and difficult sentences to analyze
7,000 words to recite roughly

Those all for English, not to mention the other subjects
Another page is her daily routine:
Get up at 06: 30
Go to sleep at 00: 10
Sport 1 h/d
Wash clothes!
Never supper!
Face! (I really don’t know its meaning)

“I must do it.” She encourages herself
But a pity that never a day did she as arranged
“First do the right thing
then do the thing right”
She wrote it on the first page
Hope she’s doing the right thing
And good luck!
