Her Straight Face Poem by nimal dunuhinga

Her Straight Face

Rating: 4.5

I saw she's carrying a stainless steel cage
But none inside.
Oh! This homeless bird seeks a roost
Along this mysterious journey.
She's at the pedestrian crossing
With a white cane
And my white hope smudged instantly.
(As I know she never sees me the entire travel.)

There is a mystery surrounding this woman and this man's hopes. Why was the poet disappointed? Was she blind? Interesting.Great stimulation for the imagination.
