Here I am
Trapped by the promises of others
And by my knowledge that those promises will never come to pass

Here I stand
Alone
But words flying at me from every side

Here I think
Maybe there's hope
But those thoughts quickly find clarity

Here I loved
And failed

Here I feel
Numbed
By both failures and successes

There I was
So long ago
Knew where to go and what I wanted

Too long ago

I'm here now
But where do I go from here?
