Here Tonight Poem by Karen Diane Fisher

Here Tonight

Here Tonight
Inert, waiting for you to call
Makes me apprehend what I feel for you
That of plummeting, and plummeting adamantly
No one has ever made me want what I want when I’m with you
You came to me so artly
As if it were a natural feeling
How it is suppose to be
But I fought, not allowing myself to love
But here tonight
I stand poised ready and apt
To be your other half
As you are mine
