Heredity Poem by Debora Soramaki

Heredity

As two became four
The time passed on
And soon there were more
From many tribes
Passing son to son
Colors of skin
Knowledge and wisdom
Where to begin
And wanting to know
Who was before
How did they feel
Why were they poor
Same features, same eyes
Hair, height and weight
Similar background
All could relate
