Hermenegildo Molina I Salute You Poem by Sylvia L. Wisner Molina

Hermenegildo Molina I Salute You

What a long way You have come
From your Humble Beginnings to who you have become
Crossing in the trunk of a car to cross the borderline
A young teen that refused to be left behind, Or stopped
From Dreaming Dreams, To reach the Top

And with the desire to finish school,
No one stepped up to help You, Still You carried on, On Your own
And as your Faith in GOD grew, He gave You Wisdom to push You through
Passing Difficult Tests, That others struggled or failed to pass
Even though they sat 12 years or more in class
Self Taught You struggled through
Asking and Receiving Wisdom from above
You've proved to be smarter than them too

I Salute You

Dreams of a Better Life,
Like so many others is all you wanted to achieve
And the Dream Killer that builds walls to stop You,
From going to Far
Couldn't stop a small town boy from becoming an Entrepreneur
And even a Star of Adonde Fue? Juan Jose
No one has the right to stop You anyway,
So good for you, You Made It... Through
Hermenegildo Molina
I Salute You

The Best Husband and Father any Family could ever want
A True Provider and Leader, Deserving of all Respect and Nothing Less
My Pleasure to Stand by your side
To... Lift You Up... To be Your Best
Becoming an American Citizen of the United States
The American Dream You have Touched
And
Is as American as any other from the Pilgrim Days,
Only to achieve it all without hurting another, Unlike The Rest
And still You found Your Way,

So... Without Shame You can Stand Tall
Because You Made It... Through It All
May God Bless, Keep, Guide, Shield and Protect You Always
I know He Loves You... And Because of your Love
I will Always Love You Too...
