Superman is a hero that many people revere
He performs Herculean feats that astound
He has incredible skills and strength, that is clear…
He reacts in a second with a leap and a bound

The champion is portrayed on the movie screen
Viewers are intrigued as he miraculously saves the day
He always knows when to arrive at a disaster scene
Courage replaces fear and all threats fade away

Tales of valor turn out to be a truth during dire circumstance
Amid blazes and floods, courage answers the stressed
Even in the world of reality… heroism makes an appearance
Ordinary people do amazing things… who would have guessed?

Heroism goes beyond fiction when courageous actions surface
Everyday people show exceptional bravery as they endure
Adrenaline grasps them by the hand and leads to a safe place
Lifting expectations and giving victims a future that is secure
