Hexed Hysteria Poem by Monica Lanier

Hexed Hysteria

Maybe it's something I am missing
As I listen to your preemptive premonitions
Wishing I could do it your way
But I can't, so i stray away alone
Tripping over these stones that were thrown
To crack my bones as I recklessly retreat to my zone
Unbeknown of the dangers, so I roam
From the dysfunctions of home
With my mind gone I prolong
The full blown effect of hexed hysteria
