Hey Lady! Poem by Marilyn Lott

Hey Lady!

Rating: 5.0

Hey lady, won’t you visit?
I’ve seen you once before
I don’t think it was too long ago
That you came to my stall door

I know you think I’m remarkable
And yes, you would be right
I’m thought of very highly
For I am an awesome sight

If you look inside my barn
You’ll see hanging without fail
A horseshoe that fits a regular horse
And one that would fit a Clydesdale

Come closer now and pet me
My handlers, they don’t mind
I’m from a very selective breed
Yes, an extremely special kind!
