Hey – You Poem by Amitava Sur

Hey – You

Rating: 5.0

I am yearning to see you once again
Wanting to sit quietly by your side alone,
Even if you don’t talk, it doesn’t matter,
I will keep myself deeply entranced
Observing you being with me.

I want you to feel me, kiss me and hug
I would like to embrace you with my love and lust.

I don’t know,
How many days have already passed away!
But sorry, you never came and congregated in between.

Getting extremely infuriated, but can’t say so
Getting emotional and broken, can’t bear it anymore
Feeling totally forlorn, can’t proceed a little ahead.

I don’t know,
How many days have already passed away!
But sorry, you don’t pave the way to forget you even! !

the intensity of missing someone in our life is deeply hurt wen we feel the urge to want them back, sit with us, be with us and then fail to revive them. a very touchy poem.

A beautiful and heart wrenching poem, Amitava! Such a delicate and tender love you have within for the love of your life, Rakhee. Anger peeking out for just a moment, showing your brokenness over losing her. No longer able to count the days, just missing and wanting her back. There are no pathways back to her and your sorrow continues to begin. Such a melancholic, but meaningful poem. Thank you for sharing your grief so gently. RoseAnn
