Hi There Poem by J.S. Campbell

Hi There

A french kiss, I meant it when I found you.
I'd astound you, bound to your eyes
now they cry, oh my why'd I try to be careless.
In the end, better off we're just friends.
No problems then, and once again, we're kids in the park,
wish in the dark i'd never broke your heart,
I guess i'll restart and one day we'll see, if only..
But for now i'll just be me.. if only
in that deep darkroom I'd known, hoping you'd phone
when there's no line. Sighing in it all, well i'll be fine,
if you were never mine
