Hi-Viz Pink

That color's shock on the football field
had aides-de-camp
wearing it in the field of battle
to be missed by the economical bullets
of the honorable many
and only hit by the wasteful ones
of the miserable few.

Fewer die in hi-viz pink,
but that's bitter commiseration
to the connections of who do.
