Hiccup Full Of Love Poem by Sonny Barthley

Hiccup Full Of Love

Hiccup full of love
is what this has become
hiccup full of love
as our feelings get numb.

Your shiny stares
once delicate and enticing
are now ugly glares
and now I can't stop sighing.

We can be fake but
not even Wilde can bind us
as this door shuts
love is a miserable lie like us.

Hiccup full of love
unlike what we once vowed
hiccup full of love
as we lay under a grey cloud.

Winter is in peak
as were untwined like before
trees still so weak
as we both can't take no more.

Whilst our flower dies
our hearts finally say goodbye
with no time at all to cry
our hearts finally say goodbye.
