Hidden Joy Poem by Queeny Gona

Hidden Joy

Rating: 5.0

Excuses made; anew
Every morning
Showcasing novel reason
To escape the school hours
Right from the moment
I awoke from bed
Walking straight
To meet my dad
With hands resting on
Stomach, head, elbow and so on
Excavating choices
To stay home.
The true lies exchanged
All the time
Isn't successful always; yet
The joy of winning over
Still in my mind!
The very time, I recall
Smile flows out my eyes
As I realize; that
It isn't me who out- wit the situation
But my dad to give me bliss!

Loved this poem, dear Qeeny Gona.Like many school kids who don't want to go to school you too pretended sickness to get permission from father to stay home.Your father knew it but still gave permission.Very nicely presented the psychology of a child. Thanks for sharing. The poem reminds me of my school days.
