Hidden Secrets Poem by Tawana Beecham

Hidden secrets can bury you alive
Making you feel trapped with nowhere to hide.
I'm torn between my pass fighting for my future
I stare in the mirror feeling lost & confused
Carrying secrets for many years
living day by day trying to over come my fears
It feels like I'm drowning fighting for my life
Searching for unanswered questions staying optimistic that brighter days are on the way
Through the bumpy roads I always manage to stay above water.
