High Schools That Surrender To Me



I went towards the flea market:
I fell towards the sea—
I surrendered to high schools that
Surrendered to me:
And I saw how the world had changed,
Had went back towards her
Aboriginal thought
Underneath the first of the airplanes:
And I perceived how the kisses from
The sun were so swift:
As she did all of her work and then got
Off from her shift—
And slipped into bed, and made love to
Her man—
And remembered her sweetest memories
As best as she can-
