Him Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Him

Him

She's questioning every thing now
All the things that God allows
Adding on and taking away
Her life in such disarray
Yet even in her time of need
When her prayers are more a plea
He gave her something to hold onto
Another someone to see it through
It's too much to handle for one mortal man
But he is always there and understands
He said it can not be done alone
To dig yourself out of the unknown
She still knows God holds her hand
Because He gave her this caring man
Even when she turns away
And it's hard to greet another day
She sees the face of God in him
That brightens even the darkest dim
