I see him and my mind wanders
My mind wonders and ponders
I wonder of things that are
And things that could be
I worry of things that aren’t
And things that will never be
He lets me in
Then shuts me out
It seems he needs to have his own space
I long to explore his mind
Learn what makes him, kind
And how to make him mine
I would like to get to know him
Go into that simple place
Where there is no time or space
And touch his deeper soul
I am lost when I behold him
Wondering if I would ever hold him
I have thoughts that never end
And questions not yet answered
I want to know his story
But he is best as a mystery
An essence in my presence
He is on my mind
He is not mine
I chose to keep him there
Him on my mind
A wonderful flow of words describing the overwhelming effect of the adored one on your mind and his influence seems quite magical that you wish to keep him there...............10/10 Best WIshes Sameer
