समूचा बनाये रखने के लिये

किसी खेत में
उसी खेत की
अनुपस्थिति हूँ मैं.
हमेशा
ऐसा ही होता है.
जहां भी मैं होता हूँ
लापता जो है वही मैं होता हूँ.
जब मैं चलता हूँ
मैं हवा को काटता हूँ
और होता यही है हमेशा
हवा वहीं आ जाती है
उस खाली स्थान को भरने के लिये
जहाँ मेरा बदन उपस्थित रहा था.
हम सभी के पास कारण होते है
चलते रहने के.
मैं चलता हूँ
चीजों को समूचा बनाए रखने के लिये.

In a field
I am the absence
of field.
This is
always the case.
Wherever I am
I am what is missing.
When I walk
I part the air
and always
the air moves in
to fill the spaces
where my body's been.
We all have reasons
for moving.
I move
to keep things whole.
