मुझको अकेला मत कहो

यह रात, दूर तक सुनसान है
पर्वतों से सागर तट तक.
किंतु मैं, जो तुमको झुला हूँ झुलाता,
मुझको अकेला मत कहो!
यह आकाश, दूर तक सुनसान है
क्योंकि चाँद भी सागर में है डूबा हुआ.
किंतु मैं, जिसने तुम्हें आगोश में अपने लिया है,
मुझको अकेला मत कहो!
यह संसार, दूर तक सुनसान है.
सारी मानवता में है छायी घोर उदासी,
किंतु मैं, जिसने है तुमको आलिंगन में आबद्ध किया,
मुझको अकेला मत कहो!

All flesh is sad you see.
But I, the one who hugs you,
I am not alone!
Rajnish ji, it is so wonderful to read your poems. Just like Asim Nehal ji, i would like to repeat Kya Khoob hai! ! Gabriela Mistral's poem is no doubt superb, but your translation is really great! !
