It was brought to life
Not just dull...routine-like...repititious...
but beautiful, awesome, inspiring.
The way he said it
Was like we were there
Not just saying it - but living it
Every moment for what it was
Feeling the beautiful, awesome and inspirational life
He held within his every word
Sweet and serene, trickling like syrup from his mouth.
The way he said it
Put me there too.
Made me want to reach for the brilliant
night sky, and the which lit it.
Made me desire the relaxation and peacefulness
The serenity, that came from being there.
The way he said it
Made an ordinary subject
Beautiful, holding me mesmerised.
Leaving me wishing I had
His way with words.
