Hold On Poem by Stefanie Fontker

Hold On

Rating: 5.0

They want to see you fall,
Yet you're the one that bleeds
For all the ones that would
Pass you around like a whore.

Lovely little girl, little boy,
I will always offer you my hand.
Yet you don't know how to hold on,
When you’ve been reprogrammed

To always let go.

What a great poem! Unfortunately, if we hold on too tight, like sand, it'll slip through our fingers...

Beautiful poem Stephanie, one I can truly relate to. I have seen many people treated in such a manner and it disgusts me.
