Hollywood Dowry Poem by Jay Bradley

Hollywood Dowry

Lend me your bridal hand, the best your new ring can,
I meet you to greet you, so I'll feed you when glad,
House seeded and completed, never growing mad,
Your wish to understand, for answers ask your man;

The younger you act, the more infant rests your kiss,
Go shop after chores, but consult you first the list,
Our strain never rainy, there lingers only mist,
Who knew the tribal pact could surrender me bliss,

How mighty your fake skin glows, bubble-head model,
Make a million mints, then stampede at full throttle,
Suffer a billion dints, my fortunes won't mottle,
Cherish your friends, but I refuse them to coddle,

May beating heart stop before lying lips linger,
My will wills one year before you take his finger.
