Home

First I was nurtured
Then I was grabbed and tossed out like garbage
Someone comes along and picks me up
I was fed, cuddled and nurtured
Then chucked out
I walked through the streets, homeless once again
I heard footsteps and looked up
Someone was standing in front of me
He leaned over and picked me up
I was nurtured for once again
I waited to get thrown out or yelled at
But nothing happened
I finally found a home
