It's raining out here,
All I see is gloom and loom,
The sun just disappeared,
And darkness from nowhere appeared,
I shiver from the cold,
Alone I sadly am,
For those who brought me joy are away,
And loneliness runs through my blood,
I hear whispers,
Impossible! I reason for no one is here,
I hear a creak from the staircase,
I'm scared yet I'm excited,
Valerie, I hear whispered,
The sound is soulful and haunting,
Wonderfully intoxicating,
It draws me out of my shell,
I follow the sound,
A small smile taunts my lips,
I'm closer and closer yet what awaits?
The room is dark and there is no switch,
My courage is gone,
I want to turn back and leave,
I am here come forward,
These words sends shivers down my spine,
It is him,
My love is here,
In his eyes I see familiarity,
His arms warm me of the cold solidarity,
I am happy,
I am home,
I am in love
