Home Again Poem by reina Lorenzo

Home Again

5/9/05

I’m here again
Chance to stretch this bone so well
This pretty summer makes me forget everything
I am home again.

I don’t mind how the sun burns
How quiet this place is
Yes, I am bored
But, this is where I belong
I am home.

Sitting here
So safely, nothing to worry
‘cuz I’m with my family and I’m happy
this pretty summer with the wind blowing
oh, how I am so relax
it feels so perfect
I am home again.
