Home At Last Poem by Diana van den Berg

Home At Last

Round the corner... and there it is...
walls rose-gold in sunset peace.
Welcomes come in wagging tails
and children’s squeals
and a kaleidoscope of garden glory.
The air hangs sweet with flower fragrance,
family dinner and lively chatter.
Stress floats free and far away.
Home is more than a castle.
