Home For Christmas Poem by Christina Sunrise

Home For Christmas

I’m in Mexico wouldn’t you know,
tropical and lushes with no snow.
Natives are friendly with smiles abound,
it is a quaint old little town.
Beautiful colorful paintings fill the store,
little dragon sculptures made from great lore.
Beach is filled with tourists with tans,
all talking and chatting on the sand.
Can’t to get back in the States,
Christmas is coming and I can’t wait.
I will see my cousins who anticipate,
my new children’s story that is up to date.
Maybe by next year I will have all my ducks in a row,
then I can travel around the world with books that glow.
