Homesickness Poem by Aryaman Kakkar

Homesickness is a state of mind
making us want for our parents and brother.
Some weep all day
while some say, 'Why bother? '

Homesickness is a feeling
we get when we are away.
It's very opposite the idiom,
'When the cat is away, the mice will play.'

It mostly occurs in children
living in a boarding school.
They start bawling,
eating Halloween loot.

Like always there is a cure
which makes them okay and fine.
Everyone has his own
but I can't tell you mine.
