Homing Poem by Charles Eastland

Homing

HOMING

Words from the heart
migrate like birds
through dark and drizzle
Invisible wings
pass the barren
and obdurate eyes
To alight and reveal
in like feathered nest
the sweet intent
And anxious touch
breathed at last
in silent song
Words to the heart
neath flamingo skies
in lime-Ricky weather
