honesty
Am i an honest person
when i remember glimpses of
my past
when i search the present
when i try to seek answers
to questions yet unasked, unuttered
when i dream about a future
what am i living by
what am i living for
what am i
i cannot ignore the I that i tend
to at times
i cannot let the I hide anymore
as i tend to so often and
then it bursts out suddenly
without warning, and
takes everyone by surprise
even myself
it has a will of its own
a will that nothing and
no one can change
A will that will lead the
way to a future?
A future that holds much
in store
that is for sure
the key to that future is
with the I -
completely and fully
