Honeymoon In Springtime Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Honeymoon In Springtime

Young lovers in the romance zone
Are so very much in love.
Happily wandering all alone
Beneath blue skies above.

Meandering by the river's edge
Humming a modern refrain
True love forever and ever they pledge
Vows they make again and again.

Bells ring out as betrothal is nigh
On a forthcoming day in May
Two hearts together will soon fly high
On a spring honeymoon across the Bay.
