Hoola Hoop Poem by David Darbyshire

Hoola Hoop

When you get off the Boat
you get a necklace of hope
from a girl with a grass skirt
or a man in a colorful shirt

Your in Hawi
you are set free
wind in your hair
have fun in the sea

here's a scoop
try a hoola hoop
round your waist it goes
move your hips LIKE nobody knows

Swinging your hips
it will sink ships
A big beautiful smile
and bright red lips

Hoopla Hoola
Hoola Hoop
all alone or
in a group

Not really sure what all this means, Dave! Oh, and by the way, I think youve spelt Hawi wrong! Love, Fran xx
