Hope's Desire - Poem by Ben Gieske

her soft-spoken eyes
quiver with hope
of a love that does not die.

her eyes smile with desire
her complexion features surprise
hope’s desire hears words of love

happy when the time comes
when weeks seem only seconds
when love is the future of the day
