When I heard what I did about you
All I could do
Was hope that it wasn’t true
And though part of me believed it
I had to give you the chance
Being that you’re my man
and a opportunity for you to help me understand
I had to bring it to your attention
And though I was mad at you
I still offered to listen
And now I just hope it isn’t so
Cause from what I know
You’re not the guy to stoop that low
All I hope is that this love thing is real
Cause if it’s fake on your part
I WOULDN’T be able to feel
I would be frozen
Zero words could be spoken
Cause out of everyone I could’ve had
YOU were the one that was chosen
