Hopeless Poem by Jessica Iboy

How do i get through the day,
knowing that nobody's there,
how can i go all the way,
knowing that I'm not prepared,
how will i know what to say,
when people start to stare,
well this is how it goes;
All i need is time now,
to figure out why and how,
why do they do this to me,
if only they could see,
how much it does hurt me,
well then just maybe,
they can spare me,
the pain, the ache, the hurt,
the cries, the wondering whys,
and just stop the lies,
or, you can put me down,
don't even turn around,
because i know you don't care,
you never did anyways,
and so all those days i came crying to you,
you just thought of ways to get it over with,
you never listen to my words,
you just covered them up,
but you listen to hers, as if shes better,
so much better.......
