Hospital Poem by Heather Albright

Did you know that every hospital smells the same?
The smell of despair and people going insane.
Did you know every hall makes the same sound.
The sound of grieving thoughts and dreams being drowned.
Did you know the feeling of every hospital is exactly alike.
Fear of the unknown, permanent damage to your psyche.
No matter where you are, you'll always need to shed a tear.
So don't dwell on that moment of living in fear.
