Hotel and Clock
by Ted L Glines
If I had a hotel
tell you what I’d do,
I’d put flowers in the party suite
and give the key to you,
roses and Jacuzzi too
for no one else but you.
Just you,
no one else will do.
If I had a ticking clock
tell you what I’d do,
I’d stop its hands from moving
with about a pint of glue
just to spend more time with you,
spending all my time with you.
Just you,
no one else will do.
