How A Poet Loves Part 7 (The Unexpected)

Days go by cold nights

Closed shades so there is no sunlight

Sulk in sadness in sorrow

If today is hell then so is tomorrow

And the next day and the next day

No longer can I take it

Without her love I don’t know how much longer I can make it

I call… she doesn’t answer

So I question… maybe she found a better man

If she did I would fully understand

Because she deserves everything that I neglected to give

So I respect it if…there’s another man she gives

Her heart to

*Ring**Ring**Ring*

The phone has her number on the caller ID

I’m in shock and in disbelief

“Hello, I’m so sorry baby for the love I didn’t give you

Did you call to say I forgive you? ”

……..

“It’s our love baby I know it’s serious”

…….

“What, wait I must be delirious

Or maybe I’m hallucinating

Cus if you’re period late then………..That means”

………

“You What? ? ? ? ? ”

To be continued
