I asked you how could you lie
But all you could say was good bye
I thought 'How could I be so stupid'
All this time I thought we got struck by cupid

I gave you my heart
And all you did was tear it apart
You told me you loved me
But I guess our love just wasn't meant to be

I used to want nobody but you
I mean look at all this stuff we been threw
I tried to keep our love strong
But what was the point you were already gone
