How Do I Forget Poem by Cheyenne Doss

I know i should forget you
I know I should never have loved you
But for some reason I couldn't hide my feelings for you those nine years ago and I still can't today
Maybe it was a mistake when we meet up again though I knew we were on each others minds these past few years but for me I don't know the reason why
So when we saw each other one more time
I knew my love for you would grow like a wildfire
We had fun together that month you and I but the thing that bothered me was when we had to say goodbye
I know we talked and still had fun but what really hurt the most is when you said you loved me but had to let me go
I know the reasons why and I know how much it hurts and still after four months it still stings as if you said it yesterday
SO here I am thinking of you as always and how can I ever forget someone like you and deciding what to do next
So now my next question isn't when I need to forget but how am I when everything I do reminds me of you
