How It Ended Poem by Ainin Sofiya

I still remember how I fell for you,
the love for you felt so pure, so true..
that very special day I could never forget,
but somehow deep in my heart I kinda regret..

It all started when I told you I like you,
and well, you told me you like me too...
few days later I asked you about us,
and you told me 'I thought you'd never ask'..

One month later it was our SA1 exams,
we went to our seperate class and wish each other good luck..
when it was over you asked me how it went,
I told you it was ok and hope that my grades won't suck..

You were always there for me through the bad and good,
I'm really glad you always understood...
but as days passed I saw you flirting,
and 1 day, my so called best friend told me something shocking...

I don't know nor have any idea you're still in love with her,
I thought you and her was so over...
but i guess i was wrong for thinking that way,
and I still can never forget that very shocking day...

I lost focus on thinking about us,
day by day, I'm starting to lose trust..
I asked my friends what should i do,
and they said 'it's all up to you'...

So one day I decided to tell you,
about my feelings right now towards you...
but i guess you never expected to end this way,
and I'm sorry because I think this is the right way....
