How Many More? Poem by Edwina Reizer

How Many More?

Rating: 5.0

How many more will march into war?
How many more will die?
Until men understand the why
the numbers will be staggeringly high.

Senseless wars are continuously fought
and never understood.
The treachery that is responsible
hides behind the good.

There is no good that comes from war.
Death becomes the aim.
Men that are willing to do the killing
will always take the blame.

Glory to those that refuse to kill.
Raise their honor high.
They are the peacemakers on this earth,
not the warriors that die.
