How My Heart Bleeds

Rating: 5.0

I hear your voice on the radio,
Reminding me of a distant yesterday
The love is burning inside,
That love I have for you
The whispered prayers send no angels down
My tears come crashing to the ground, and...

The sound you hear is that of my heart in shreds
Causing my wounds to bleed
The pain you cannot see leaves my heart in shreds
Still the wounds bleed

I sit and cry over our latest war
Our times together now seem like a blur
It burns inside me since the litigations have subside
Emotions still escape me,
When I wander around trying to understand
Why time slipped from my fragile grasp,
Like rain slipping through my hands. Now...

The ripping you cannot hear is of my heart in shreds
Causing my wounds to bleed
The tears you refuse to accept is my only expression
Of the horrible sound as my heart weeps

Rain falls all day so very hard
Echoing my anguish that refuses to stop
Cause to end would give a chance to stop the pain
And you do not want to see me having progress made, yeah

I hope one day you hear your own heart break
And your embedded wounds bleed
To know how it feels to have your world shake
While you lay there and grieve

Then you could try reforming pieces that seem fake
Only for the fragile thing to break
This pain of mine you selfishly dish out to me
Will one day make you bleeds!
