How Wonderful You Looked Poem by April Pearl

How Wonderful You Looked

How wonderful u looked?
My eyes got hooked,
Wanted no distance,
You and me for instance,
I let my hair down,
Didnt want you to go to town,
I thought you would notice,
Hence stood by the lattice,
A blue white saree,
Blouse with a dori.
Busy eating the fish curry,
Forgot to take me to the ferry.
Anger would show up any moment,
My man with a calm temperament,
Read my face,
Felt my lace,
Pulled back my curls,
Undid my fleats,
Frustrated I was,
Waiting to be pulled to his lips,
Couldnt hold any longer,
Locked him with my arms,
Pecked him till he got stronger,
I got weaker,
Now felt every emotion,
Next morning,
Didnt want him going,
The moon pitying us,
Giving us a longer night,
To just hold each other tight,
To forget all the fight,
To make enough love,
That lasted for a month,
Until he came back,
Be loved and loved forever
