Humanity Poem by Alex Harvey

Humanity

Humans waste away,
They fight for land,
But they don't have a say,
Of who owns the sand,

People debate politics,
Without accomplishing tasks,
Worrying about economics,
But hiding behind masks,

We live a life,
That seems so full,
But all the more we strife,
The more we mull,

Humans waste away,
They claim to build,
But do nothing all day,
Jobs stay unfulfilled,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Humans seem to want to accomplish great feats but never put in the necessary work. We do not yet see the big picture. That sometimes little problems like losing a game do not matter to the continuation of the human race.
